(i'm not too fond of these furry emojis on mine, i only really chose meow.social based on its name and that there's a CoCish thing /-\)
might as well switch instances before i post all my unexciting noncontent on this one if there's a reason to it.
how do these mastodon emojis work? they seem to be instance specific - does it work with some identifier and a picture my instance provides (that can be different on other instances)? or will they always show the same icon to all users no matter what a readers own instance chooses?
after meeting some more lovely people that are simply not present on the twitters i feel like i have to give mastodon another chance.
