Re: Romantic Relationships
@MadestMadness But how does the fennec react to Windows users?
Re: Romantic Relationships
@Fen -hisss- 😛
I'll make occasional jokes about it, and probably try to convince them to try Ubuntu, but that's about it. 😛 I'm not as likely to be able to help with Windows problems, mostly.
@MadestMadness I don't see the down side 😝
these cons don't sound like cons I don't get it
@MadestMadness destroy proprietary software
@melly Absolutely 😊
Pff, would probably apply if I wasn't tied here x.x
@StormWulf Tied? 🙂

@MadestMadness you seem cool n we should chat or something, more :3
@MadestMadness OwO you wrote a book?!
re: Romantic Relationships
@MadestMadness omg cute!
@emsenn Yes 😊 A cyberpunk dystopia I'm working on very slowly 😊
@MadestMadness good effort!
I'm really proud of what I have so far, and I'll spontaneously just get giddy and burst into tears while working on it. 😅 No matter how it turns out, it's a massive labor of love on my part 😊
@MadestMadness That 404s for me but I'm thrilled to hear you're that excited about it!
(I'm working on two fiction settings that both have me real excited.)
@emsenn I linked to a post where I described the premise. 🙂
It's a cyberpunk dystopia where a corporate, all controlling, entity leases people electronically augmented bodies on the basis of job performance. The Earth has been damaged, making these bodies vital for survival. A bad quarter causes the bodies to get reclaimed. The book focuses on a group of hackers who try to take their own bodies back. 😊
What are the two you're working on? 😊
@MadestMadness ...that's a really good premise for something like that. Dang.
One is a tragic/funny fantasy world that's basically just subtext on contemporary society, and the other is a fairly hard sci-fi that presumes humans colonize the galaxy and never find other intelligent life or get to going past like 1/5th the speed of light.
@emsenn Gosh I can't imagine the sober realization, in a SciFi setting, that we really are all alone. In a sense, we're trapped with just being among our own known species. 🙀
Painting parallels to our daily lives in a fantasy setting in ways that are kinda funny and tragic sounds really great, too! 😊
